For many of you, Liverpool will soon be your home away from home for the next few years. As this might be the first time many of you will leave home for an extended period of time, rest assured that the Liverpool Malaysian Society (LMS) will do everything and anything possible to make this transition a smooth one.

 

So what is it like to live and study in Liverpool?

 

Liverpool is a city filled to the brim with culture, food, nightlife, music and of course sport. With a façade of modern skyscrapers blended effortlessly amongst beautiful traditional buildings, Liverpool truly is a sight to behold.

 

Located in the heart of the city centre is Liverpool One, the largest outdoor shopping centre in the UK. Liverpool One boasts a cinema, an indoor 36 hole mini golf, rooftop garden, retail outlets and both buffet and À la carte dining options; Liverpool One is definitely a great place to have a short respite from the books. The Liverpool Pier Head that consist of the Royal Liver Building is probably the most recognisable sight in Liverpool after Anfield. This is perfect place to just sit and take in the sunset as the beams cascade off the River Mersey. There are many more attractions in Liverpool, which i trust you will discover when living in Liverpool.

 

With the city centre filled with attractions, you might take comfort that the universities in Liverpool are only a short walk away. There are many places to grab a quick lunch or sit down with the mates for lunch or dinner.
