HALAL

For those of you who are worried about not being able to find many halal restaurants, fret not as Liverpool is home to a wide variety of Halal restaurants and fast food outlets. This list only includes the student favourites and is not all-encompassing so we do encourage you to explore as you may find many other options.

NABZYS

This is Liverpool's answer to our beloved Mamaks back home. One of the, if not the best fast food places in Liverpool. The fries, fried chicken, burgers and wraps are addictive to say the least. Definitely a must go if you ever feel like a midnight snack.

Red Hot World Buffet

For all the buffet lovers out there, Red Hot will help fill the void left by the amazing buffet places we have back home. The food here is decent and will fill you up, but it is not the greatest food you will try if i am being completely honest. Red Hot does student discounts so dont forget to ask them for it!

Average spent : £10-15

Kimos

Kimos is a Mediterranean restaurant with 2 locations in Liverpool, the one most visited by students is the one just by Vine Court. The food here is good and the prices are reasonable. The lasagna has gotten rave reviews from current students.

Cravings

Cravings is a restaurant offering American favorites. From burgers to shakes you can find it all here. Reasonable prices and a nice atmosphere makes Cravings a popular hang out spot for students.

Four Seasons

Four seasons has become a favorite of the students because of the 50% off deal offered by the restaurant every Sunday. The food here is pretty good however the service is not the best you will get. Definitely worth a try if you need to get a Chinese food fix. Please do take note that only the beef and chicken is halal and that four seasons does serve pork.

*50% discount on Sundays

Nando's

Not wanting to sound bias but Nando's UK is much better than the Nando's back home. The chicken here is more tender and juicy than the ones we get back home in my opinion. It is a little bit pricey but worth the indulgence once in a while. Do make sure you head to the Queen Square branch as it is the only Halal Nandos branch in Liverpool.

Quick Chef

This restaurant boasts huge portions. One calzone is more than enough for one person. Definitely worth giving it a try when you are absolutely famished.
