On Campus
University accommodation tends to be the first choice for any new student starting university, and this is no different here in Liverpool. Living in student halls is great way to immerse yourself into the student community here in Liverpool. Since everyone in halls is probably new to the university, making new friends is going to be that much easier. Bringing along a box of cookies will only speed up that process.
Majority of students will choose on campus accommodation over off campus. One of the main reasons behind this is simply convenience. There will be no need to take a bus into campus or into town everyday as everything is within walking distance. However, on campus accommodation does have its drawbacks such as the high price of rent.
Prices for university accommodation vary greatly from £90 to slightly below £200 per week* depending on the choice of accommodation. The price for University of Liverpool accommodation includes water, electricity, heating, Internet and food (if you choose the catered option).

Vine Court
Description
Vine court is the most recent addition to the the University's student halls and is currently the only student hall located on campus.
Type of rooms
There are three types of rooms offered in Vine Court; self-catered single and double bed rooms, and catered double bed rooms (larger rooms available at an extra cost). All rooms come with an ensuite bathroom.
Facilities
Facilities at Vine Court include WIFI and broadband connections, basic contents insurance, shared kitchen and living area with Freeview TV which is cleaned every weekday, a large courtyard with a secure bike store, coffee shop, bar, restaurant, and an on-site laundrette.
Location
Vine Court is located on the south side of the University of Liverpool campus, just two minutes from the Sydney Jones Library, and less than ten minutes away from the University of Liverpool Sports and Fitness Centre. A walk to the northernmost part of campus takes about twenty minutes and a walk into the city centre takes about twenty to twenty five minutes.
Catering
Students who opt for the catered rooms are able to have breakfast and dinner (evening meals during the weekends) at Vine Court's own Liv2Eat.
A typical breakfast consists of unlimited cereal or toast, and five choices between fried eggs, boiled eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash browns, baked beans, pork sausages and bacon.
Dinner on the other hand is very dependent on the day, but there will normally be an option for either beef, chicken, pork, fish or vegetarian meals.

Mulberry Court
Description
Mulberry Court is a gated residence consisting of 379 single study bedrooms organised into small groups around shared kitchens and washing facilities.

There are two types of rooms available in Mulberry Court; self catered rooms and self catered flats.
*Do note that only 51-week contracts are available for Mulberry Court accommodation.

Mulberry Court is located opposite of Tudor's Close, a couple of minutes away from the central campus. The University of Liverpool's Sports and Fitness Centre is a couple of minutes away. Both the Sydney Jones Library and Harold Cohen Library are within less than ten minutes by foot.
A walk to the southernmost part of campus will take five to ten minutes while a walk to the northernmost part of campus will take ten to fifteen minutes. The Liverpool city centre on the otherhand is fifteen minutes away.

Description

Melville Grove
Description
Melville Grove accommodates about 350 students, most those taking part in the study abroad programmes. The residence is expected to undergo a major reburbishment on September 2013. Therefore, it might not be available for students until the project is done.
Types of rooms
There are two types of rooms available in Melville Grove; Type A which is the smaller room and Type B which is larger. However both rooms still have single beds and do not come with an ensuite bathroom.
*Do note that only 51-week contracts are available for Melville Grove accommodation.

Fully furnished broadband-connected private bedrooms, well-equipped shared kitchen/diners cleaned each weekday, shared washing facilities cleaned each weekday, and uses a fob entry to enter the gated residence.
Location
Melville Grove is located opposite of Vine Court at the south of campus. A walk to the University of Liverpool Sports and Fitness centre takes five minutes. The Sydney Jones Library is located a couple of minutes away and the Harold Cohen Library is ten to fifteen minutes away.
A walk to the northernmost part of campus will take twenty minutes, while a walk to the Liverpool city centre will take no more than twenty-five minutes.
